Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together sugar and cinnamon.
- Next, pour the apple pie filling onto a cutting board and use a large knife to coarsely chop up the apples. Set aside.
- In a pan over medium heat, melt ½ tablespoon of butter.
- Once melted, add a tortilla to the pan for about a minute to allow it to crisp up.
- Take it out of the pan and set it aside. This tortilla will go on top of the quesadilla.
- Melt another ½ tablespoon of butter in the pan.
- Add the second tortilla, then drizzle on 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce.
- Spread 1 cup of the apple pie filling over the caramel, then drizzle on an additional tablespoon of caramel topping.
- Then, place the crispy tortilla on top and let the quesadilla heat through. Flip if needed
